What was your highest BID per click you have ever set?

Posts niches also if you care to share.

    For me it was $5.60

    £8 ($16).

Eventually reduced it to about £5 ($10), where it's quite profitable...

The biggest one was around 5$ with cents.
Though it went down really fast, managed to make some money from it still.

$11, but very quickly reduced the cost because of the success of it

Around $7 -- it was in the mortgage niche -- but was too chicken to let it run for long. :)

    wow big bids up there...

I try to aim for around 0.07 cents - 40 cents but highest I went was about 3 bucks a click...

As long as its making money then sure, keep it

Did a real sharp Adwords campaign for a short period at $5.00 a click and destroyed the comp for awhile.

The market tends to dictate the cost per click in general.

If a conversion is worth $000's of dollars, and the conversion rate is typically 10%, then $50 per click is still highly profitable...

If a conversion is worth $5, and the conversion rate is about 1%, then $0.05 is a lot to pay...

It all depends on which market you are in.

Mine was $5. I quickly changed it though, after I almost went broke and was my ROI was less than my investment.
