Played games since late 80's like Dig dug and stuff and loved them, however didn't become what I would consider a competitive gamer battling other players and sometimes losing a whole weekend to a game till I started playing: Total Annihilation (1997) Starcraft (1998) Tribes (1998) Tribes 2 (2001) Then in the early 2000's hooked by my first mmorpg: Star Wars Galaxies
My first was "In Search of the Most Amazing Thing" by Spinnaker. Played it on my Apple II Clone, Franklin Ace 2000.
That was a good game....classic I thought it was even better than the II version. Insector X was another classic and it pi@@@ me off to think I crashed and burned on the last level against the mother X darn it. It was a hired game at the time and was returned though this was some 15 odd years ago. I never got a 2nd shoot at clocking it and probably won't as I've lost interest in those sorts of things, plus the misses is more entertaining . ROOFIS
