My first computer was a P75 with 8MB of ram, 800MB hard drive, a trident video card with 2MB of ram, 14.4 modem and running Windows 3.11.

At this time I knew absolutely nothing about computers. 6 months into owning this PC is decided to take it apart completely and learn how to put a computer back together without knowing anything. In the end, the computer ran 10x better after I put it back together. 6 months later I started building my own PCs instead of buying pre-built ones. I still do that to this day.
