    I still have my first car it is a 98 chevy malibu. Things a tank, gota love it, i keep it just cuz I love cars that you don't have to care about if someone dings your door or something. When i get enough money for a sports car then i'll trade it in ;)

    I can't drive yet, still taking my driving lessons. Hoping to pass soon, don't know which car I want either, a cheap one preferbaly.

    My first car was a 1954 Pontiac 2 door with straight 8 and 2 speed auto trans. The thing was a slug but rode like a dream on dirt roads.

    1964 ragtop GTO. Four speed, could scratch in all 4 gears, rattled your teeth outta your head at around 65mph.

    Love to have it back. :)

    I'm going to go out on a limb and wager that you were not a fan of the new generation GTO's :D

    r00mate from college, his dad had a 66 or 68 some kinda 60 convertible...faster than the lightning bolts. He took me for a kick one day, tried to rattle my teeth but the darned thing...spun the main bearing...our joy ride? OVER :mad:

    I can identify with your buddy. Was coming hone from a high school end of yr athletic picnic and threw a rod thru the oilpan. Oops. :rolleyes:

    My first car was a 1974 Mercury Comet with a 302 8 cylinder engine, today I drive a Chevy Nova but my al time favorites are the aircooled VWs I have owned 5 different Bugs, a bus, a squareback and a fast back and have been shopping around for another recently.
