    I had a poker site a year ago that I got ranked #3 for the keyword "poker guide". I was making anywhere from $100 to $300 a day off of affiliate programs with it.

    I would safely say that ranking top#5 for y second keyword of choice in google.pt was a nice achievement. Keyword: Web Marketing.

    We are also climbing up with pretty much every single keyword in our long term optimization plan.

    But most importantly, I guess seeing my client's do well and knowing that it was a result of my direct intervention feels great. Just an example, ranking for flores (flowers) on #1 and bringing the client's sales up 60% was orgasmic. :D

    my biggest success was the number one ranking for a single word keyword in a competitive industry and maintaining those rankings for several years :) resulting in lots and lots of sales for my client :D

    Spent about an hour on my wife's website. She runs a small business. A month later when google comes back it throws her up to #2 for a local search, and about 20 other search phrases. And she has almost tripled her business because of it. $4k a month, every month since January. Figure out that hourly rate.

    I currently have a Google page 1/slot 1 result for "cokerewards.com", a popular search term related to a major Coke promotion. Lots of traffic, not much of it interested in my site's archive of online advertising -- but they tend to click out on one of my Google AdSense ads :D

    I lucked into it through an accident on my part -- the correct term should have been "mycokerewards.com". Needless to say, I never would have ranked on that term ;)

    Real estate is local and highly competitive in our area. But constant work updating our site http://www.bendpremierrealestate.com and backlinks has moved us up close to page 1. I would love to get to page 1 soon. Not many of the purchased backlinks actually show up.
