What was one of Hitlers biggest mistakes?

I'd like people to participate in this. I have it for coursework and I need some opinions on what Hitler did wrong during WWll.

Personally I think if he hadn't of started a war with USSR and fighting during the Battle of Britain known as Operation Sealion. He had a very large army and if used it right he could've took over UK within at least 7 months if the Lufftwaffe actually killed the RAF, even though he underestimated the RAF. If he didn't allie with Japan he wouldn't of had the problem with America joining the war.

It's a tie between the toothbrush moustache and marrying his own cousin.

Hitler was evil, and killed millions of people unnecessarly.

But from a strictly military POV, Invasion of Soviet Union was the dumbest mistake. He needed food and oil from Russia and Ukraine.

he didn't go with everything he had for moscow. It was Russia's communication and transportation center. It would have dealt them a big blow. Not finishing off the brits at Dunkerque was a pretty big mistake too as they later used those troops to kick the germans out of africa

Troops at Dunkerque were a small fraction of the number of troops deployed in Africa.

The Russians were resilient, and General Winter was extremely harsh. Germans could never comprehend the possibility of diesel and engine oil freezing inside the tanks... :D

I think the German tank crews were too busy smoking methamphetamine to worry about anything but lighters and tin foil - LOL.

He should either finish England off first or finish USSR first, but he was doing both at the same time. I guess by doing he couldn't concentrate all his forces and resources unlike England and USSR who were just fighting only Germany.

He underestimated the power, determination and bravery of the allied powers and their soldiers.

i'd say he underestimated the power of the D-Day attack, had too many folks in Russia. Should have started and ended one side at a time.

also if he hadn't used up a lot of his resources attacking the jews, then he could have had a larger army on both fronts.

at some point i think he did implement that, and ran them over with tanks instead of wasting bullets. and of course the furnaces (don't know how cheap they are)

    some sick stuff.

not exactly because if he hadn't have made some key mistakes military wise, we would all be living in a Nazi controlled German kingdom right now. Which is exactly what he wanted

But even then he had to waste some men in overlooking all of this, and of course the numbers of men he could have used in his army that were jewish!

yeah true, he should've waited until after he destroyed england to round up the jews if that was his ultimate goal. he basically was going after 3 or so objectives at the same time.
