No doubt I'll go with Youtube because it directly associated with Google and Vimeo cannot give any competition to Google's fan following. On Youtube you'll definitely get more views for your videos.

I think YouTube is best platform to share videos because everyone is using Google.

I recommend YouTube for quick, fast, intuitive video sharing.
However, if you are looking to embed to your website or need to post without distracting advertisement and in high definition — you can't beat Vimeo. Vimeo is the epitome of the "less is more" concept.

I typically prefer to use YouTube for hosting videos because of the social aspect and the insane amount of traffic it gets. I mean seriously.. Did you know that according to YouTube statistics, over 1 BILLION unique users visit YouTube each month. On top of that over 6 billion hours of video is watch monthly as well - that's almost an hour for every person on earth! Why wouldn't you want be a part of that action!

Even though that's what I do for the sake of getting traffic to my sites, if I am wanting something that just loads fast and looks more professional I would suggest Vimeo..

I use YT and Dailymotion, never use Vimeo for video promotions.

YouTube is great for sharing. Practically everyone is familiar with it and when you use it as a marketing and promotional tool the results are always strong.

Can find most things on Youtube. If not available use google to look for the videos on vimeo. Their site search did not help last time I checked.

Our company uses only 4 different video sharing websites.

Vimeo... one HD video and 500 GB of memory. This is for a free account. You have to pay for the rest.
Youtube... The most used... I would use Youtube for the main one.
Veoh.... strict on spam.. Don't post videos that go against guidelines.
Myspace You can post here and start social media etc.
Dailymotion... so far I don't have problems with them.
    Social media.... Google plus, Facebook.

Overall the daddy of all video hosting sites is Youtube. Its the most promoted and liked in the world.

Both networks are good. If you're looking to diversify your online marketing strategies and keep search engines guessing and sending traffic to your site, include a link in your Vimeo & YouTube video descriptions with every new video upload.
