    Your question is flawed though... what context are you trying to determine? Simple traffic stats will show you that Youtube gets more traffic and therefore you could conclude that it is "liked more". However you've posted this thread in a marketing forum category but you don't give that context in your question. Shouldn't it really be
    "What video sharing site benefits your marketing strategy the most?"
    "What video sharing site drives the most traffic to your site?"
    "What video sharing site drives sales through your site?"
    "What video sharing site gives the best PPC performance on your site?"

    Vimeo is often used by artists to display their own work in high definition. On the other hand, YouTube has it's seo aspect and videos load faster too.

    I prefer YouTube as its fast and attracts more viewers towards your uploaded videos.
    Then it is integrated with my other Google accounts so comes in handy.

    If you're talking about video sharing, then it must be Youtube. Although, Vimeo is a great site where you can find amazing video clips, mostly uploaded by professionals.

    it depends on the purpose,
    if you want to post general videos you should use YouTube, you'll get a bigger exposure
    but if you have a business and you need to post a video on your website vimeo looks more professional and legit.

    Vimeo looks better but somehow I just can't upload junk video there... it has a professional vibe i think :)
    while youtube seems like a site for everyone and for every junk video.
    I can't choose one... I can just stick with the most popular one.
