    Use a keyword tool to mess about with some of the keywords that you find on the homepages of leading insurance companies - that will tell you the number of searches

    ad word is bast tool of keyword research so you want to suggestion to manual use tool and set your target area.

    Need to do 1st categorized your "Insurance" keywords. means "which types of insurances are provide by your firm?"
    Example: Auto insurance, Car insurance, health insurance, SR22 insurance etc.
    Then after you can search by these keywords & you can use 3-phase, 4 phase or more long tail keywords.
    you can make a mixture of your targeted business area in your define keyword too.
