What up with this?

    Ok my site is new the first day i made 9dollars (not what i made but im just using it as a perpestive)...The next day i made 10, then 19... today i had 9000 unique visits (due to digg)... and i only make $9? today i had 15x more traffic then any other day and i make 1/20th the amount of money? Why is this??...Wow are they cheating me?

    Give it a week and then see. Three days is not nearly enough time to see a pattern in anything.

    First up, the $9 day isn't that unusual as it's Sunday in the US I think? You'll find there're less clickthroughs on weekends, and the $9 is in line with your previous earnings.

    Next up, Digg visitors are EXTREMELY ad blind and almost never click on ads. You'll have to monetize traffic that in other ways ;)

    I don't know if there's an 'average' but 1000 impressions for me would make $5 - $10.

    Depending on the keywords you are targeting as you can get 100 impressions and make $.50

    Maybe, you have been smart priced because your clicks are not converting for the advertisers. However, it may be too early to confirm it is smartpricing.

    That depends on a lot of things.

    What niche are you in?

    What keywords are you targetting?

    How are your ads layed out?

    Where is your traffic coming from (besides digg)?

    Etc
