    The most common types of sitemaps are .xml & .html.

    You have many sites that offer you the possibility to make a sitemap online (usual reduced to xxx links per sitemap).
    For example this site :
    , you can do it online & download the sitemap.


    Or you can also use this tool by Google

    to make your sitemap on your PC and then upload it to your site.
