    I watched Midnight Express the other evening, starring Brad Davis as a man doing time in a Turkish prison for smuggling hashish. Highly recommended. John Hurt and Randy Quaid co-star as fellow inmates. Then I watched a bit of a comedy called Starting Over.

    I love thrillers. All the films where they talk about maniacs, serial killers. Especially if it's based on real events. It is interesting to know what is in the heads of such people, if they can be called people.

    I like horror movies for several reasons.

    Lastly, watching horror movies with friends can be a bonding experience. Sharing the scares and thrills, discussing the plot twists, and reacting together enhances the enjoyment and creates lasting memories.

    These reasons explain why I enjoy the horror genre in cinema.
