Hey friends, I would love to know what type of websites sells well at high prices? Please share your opinion. Thanks
Sites with good content (especially with a mailing list or unique product) and good traffic will generally sell well, even if they're not very well monetized.
Anything that earns well and appears stable, you won't find many truly valuable sites listed at places like DP and Flippa simply because the best ones wouldn't be sold. WebDev
I'm agree with the thing about micro niche websites. It's easier to rank them than social sites. Obviously websites with original content are the best.
As other posters have mentioned, targeted, niche websites sell the best. I've personally done quite well in the financial niche. The more competitive the niche, the more likely your competition will eventually want to buy-out your website. Lots of money to be made this way
This is a very open question, the type of website that sells well, depends on the niche, the traffic, the Alexa Ranking, the Page Rank, and many other factors
Is what I was going to say..if you look at flippa sales, the hot sellers are all over the place, from news sites that sold for 330,000, to a prescription site that sold for 1.5million...some click bank sites sold for 450,000...to a how to become a tattoo artist site that sold for 80,000.00
It all depends on how good the website is. There is no trend to what type pf website sells better. Any website type can sell high if its worth the price. Don't believe any free price suggestion tool for your website though. Rain
