Apart from padding your post count, why do you want to know?

You should make this a poll.

And that curiousity will lead you where?

FWIW I live in the largest city in my country, but it's a tiddler compared with NY or London. Does it still count as a city? And a suburb is technically part of a city, whereas a town is standalone. So doesn't every city dweller live in a suburb by definition? And a beach will probably be attached to a suburb, a town and perhaps even a farm.

Sarah.... You seem to be padding the posts yourself. If you are so offended by this post you should boycott it, not keep bringing it to the top.

    Good Luck..

No, I'm trying to have a discussion about why and how you'll use the information and how the question is malformed. I'd hate this to turn into another "do you think the famous model in my avatar is pretty" thread with everyone posting a couple of words and the thread serving absolutely no purpose.

Assuming you're not so shallow as to start such a thread I figured you'd be able to answer the question. Curiosity is an odd answer.

I live in North Vancouver which itself is a city, small allbeit. North Vancouver basically starts at the ocean and runs 1/2 way up into the mountains. I live about 1/4 of the way up. We have a nice view of downtown Vancouver, especially Lions Gate bridge. In 10 minutes I can be skiing on Grouse Mountain, in 5 minutes I can be swimming in the ocean and in 10 minutes I can be downtown. It's rather a nice place.
