What type of site is the easiest and fastest to promote? Is it wordpress blog? I wonder how people promote internet shops cause they don't have content or have a very few of it. If i get my blog high in SE, can I later put some a-store on it's domain (replace the content) and still be on the same positions? Is this possible?

Is it wordpress blog? >>> whether it is a WP blog or a website, your promotion method would be exactly the same. both require some optimization so whichever you feel comfortable with. if you want to add content on a regular basis or on an occasional basis, then a blog would probably be better to manage the content. while website will be easier for static site with not much updates going on.
