i am new to this business. i want to know what type of site get more adsense income.. and pls share tips....... thank u
Ones with decent content on, make the site interesting for people. I often find it easier making a site for people opposed to making money, in time the site will grow and make more money than you expected Took one of my sites 5 months to start making $5 ~ a day and another one about a week to make between $1-2 a day. Just need to concentrate on doubling the income through getting link and adding content. Richard
I always tell my readers only to start a blog for a topic they are really interested in or enthusiastic about. In this way, they can write the best articles/posts that can attract people to come.
The old "Do what you love and the money will come" - I love it. This is good advice for a newbie, because sometimes their interest can help them from giving up when they don't see immediate results, allowing to weather the tough learning phase. Once you know how things work and look at it as a business, it's better to find out where the money's already flowing and divert a little (or hopefully, a lot) into your pocket.
The more traffic you get the more $. What I've discover that the more sticky (interesting content) your site becomes, the less the revenues. Sometimes people click on ads just to exit sites that don't have the kind of content they're looking for.
I've always felt the opposite - funny how that works. On my best site, the average visitor stays about 20 minutes and my CTR is over 30%...
those are excellent stats... i'd need to get some advice from you on how to get similar stats. 30% CTR is just amazing
I don't really have advice. I didn't do my homework before I started the site. It's in the education niche. I just picked at random and got lucky the clicks range from $.50 - $4.00. I built the site with XsitePro using one of the stock templates that comes with it. Content is all original (and good - if I do say so myself). Like I said, visitors tend to stay a while. It's like a mini article directory with only my articles. The average visitor visits 4 pages. Each page with an article has 2 big rectangle ad blocks above the article - that's it. I just really think if you keep people's mind on a certain subject long enough, they tend respond to the ads. Someone reads for 20 minutes about how great college is and how easy it is to get scholarships, they click the ads. I could be all wrong on the psychology of it, but that's what's been working for me...
Any site can produce income, the only problem is the traffic Traffic = $$$ You can find some high paying keywords here, not sure if this list is Legitimate or not forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=713951
Any niche can be profitable if u have passion don't create alot of sites (in the begining) create one or two sites and learn from them then expand ur site network u can't earn 100000000$ only from ur single site ( run by one person)
Traffic is the key. If you have traffic then you'll make money. As adsense is a contexual program so the content available on the website matters alot.
Open Google Adwords account and you can view how much publishers paying for keywords. Just publish rich content around those keywords.
Sites with traffic will earn more. Sites in the real estate niche / medicine / hosting, etc. with NO traffic won't make much. So choose a niche you know something about. It's not fun to completely outsource your articles and it's not easy to find quality copy writers either.
Also read all you can about seo, generating traffic, getting free backlinks, because you need all of these to make sure that visitors find your site with the higher paying keywords.
