    Hi in my opinion Ask.com one type of question and answer related website you can use this site like a Profile related and also add friends and news related topics is best in this website so lot's of option you can use it.

    This is basically Q & A type search engine but now a days this search engine (Ask.com) has been chasing market leader Google Inc. for years without making much headway, but that hasn’t deterred its engineers from trying to set the pace for innovation.

    It is similar to search engines like Google and Bing. have used the Ask.com several times. The feel is similar to that of other search engines. Amd yes. It is 100% legitimate. Only reason being that it is not a reputed saerch engine, that only few of the guys are aware of.

    Ask.com was launched in the same time with Altavista (as far as I remember). Unfortunately they didn't succeed to improve their indexing system and they remained at the Q&A DB that brought them some influence in the searching engines but when Google launched the first Penguin/Panda all was lost for ask.com

    It is just a search engine but, I don't recommend it. Not a popular one nor is it as efficient as the other search engines.
