What type of link building do you outsource?

I am looking into starting a link building service to get some instant cash for my time. I have a pretty nice understanding of what it is, and what I must accomplish when I do this.

I have done it for my own sites, but have never done it for clients. My question is, what do customers generally look for when working with someone?

I see that they usually want a report from previous clients but obviously I do not have that.

Tell me what I should be aware of.

How much do you usually pay?

What do you expect from the service they provide you?

I've used providers over at ODesk before because I have my own site list.

I've paid between $2-$3 per hour with an average of 5 profile links or 8 blog comments being made.

I'd check the listings over at Odesk, if your potential clients are aware of the outsourcing possibilities I am afraid it is going to hurt the price you are able to charge. If they aren't, then paying $1 a link or so is possible.

If I were looking to hire you I'd want to know three things.

    1) Guarantee of the type of links created with URL's given for each link.
    2) Guarantee of the # of links created per hour.
    3) An example of your success in link building.
