hello, I have an LLC business based on a few websites that update to get ad revenue and soon i am considering to add an ecommerce site. it is just me right now i have no employees and doing all moy work from home in my free time. what types of insurance should i get to protect myself? 1) considering my online magazine / blog, 2) how about when i get into ecommerce? 3) how about my business in general?
It is hard to get insurance against faulty business practices such as Directors and Officers insurance for a small LLC (and very expensive if you can get it.) In the alternative, the best insurance you can have is well written contracts (e.g. TOS, Privacy Policy, DMCA notice, etc.) for your web sites. Properly written, these documents will give you a good chance to avoid liability for any but the most egregious or intentional actions.
hi, thanks for your answer, is there a typical insurance that : -online magazines and -ecommerce websites use?
