What type of hosting for VPN software?

    I'd like to create a tunnel service for myself, like hotspotvpn.com so that I can surf safely while on the road and at cafes.

    What type of hosting do I need to do this? A VPS? I think I will be using openVPN software

    A vps will be enough for openvpn, i`ve been using openvpn for a long time, dont forget you need tun or tap device to be enabled on your vps.
