    I hope all of you guys who are using a laptop are not using the built in keyboard. I just got a nice wireless naturally curved keyboard and wow it sure helps on the wrists and I can even type faster with less mistakes.

    Desktop. It's not because I find it faster but because the laptop screen it's just too damn small for me needs.

    That depends on YOU.

    LAPTOPS:
    Advantages: Portable, sleek, and light. Uses less power than desktops. Great for school and business. WIRELESS!!! Won't cause a problem if you have a small desk because its small and light.
    Disadvantages: Tend to have lower performance than desktops. Hard to upgrade. Not the best computer for gaming, photo rendering, etc. Shorter life span. More expensive. Often stolen easily in school. Can be broken easily (accidental dropping).

    DESKTOPS:
    Advantages: Best value. Very upgradeable. Great performance, great for heavy gaming, photo rendering, editting, etc. Its "buildable". Fixing a desktop is easier. Very sturdy.
    Disadvantages: LARGE and heavy. Very space-consuming. NOT portable, stays in one area. More expensive electricity bills. Tend to be noisy. Generates enormous amount of heat compared to laptops.:)

    NOW, CAN YOU DECIDE WHAT IS THE BEST COMPUTER FOR YOU?
    Source(s):
    i own BOTH laptop + desktop.
