What type of computer do you use? A laptop or a Desktop?

    It is said that laptops are now outselling desktops. I do believe this is true but laptops are not meant for power and speed as much as desktops are nor can they be upgraded as easy and some parts on a laptop cannot be upgraded at all.

    I have a laptop and my parents have a desktop. So we have both in our house. Laptops sure are handy!

    So what type of computer do you use?

    I use a desktop, mainly for its power>price ratio. With laptops, i would be paying £1k+ for something i can build myself for £400~.

    Although i am seriously considering getting a laptop, I've had several in the past but power/upgradability have always let me down.

    I have a desktop and I don't really require a laptop right now. But it all depends on your preference and the kind of work you do. :)

    I am also using only a desktop and very happy with it. I do not feel the need to get a laptop..not at least now!

    When I was thinking of buying a new computer, I wanted the mobility of a laptop, but i LOVE hard core games that laptops cant handle, so i bought myself a mac mini desktop computer, and to pick up for the lack of mobility, i purchased an Ipod Touch (close enough to a laptop :p)
