What kind of niche do you have? As per my experience, i gained PR 2 in a real estate niche for at least 3 months so if you will to calculate it will bring you to PR6 in 9 months. This is only to my experience, I gained a lot of back links through social networking and social bookmarking, also blogging and blog commenting. Just do extensive related link building techniques and do not forget that related and quality links will bring your desired PR.
Is by getting backlinks from websites that are above or PR6 which is a little bit hard, those usually use NOFOLLOW to prevent marketers spamming. and if you have a good unique content, you might get to this rank, how long will it take? it really depends, pagerank factors are more then backlinks and where they come from.
Interesting stuff Well I was thinking about buying links or hiring someone. But wondering if maybe I would just need to buy a certain amount of links to get to PR6 And so you said it takes 9 months to get to PR6? If you suddenly had a million links to your site, wouldn't it jump up a lot faster? Like go from 0 to 5 at least?
.gov and .edu backlinks are really good to get higher pr. You can try article directories to get more relevant backlinks to your site.
relevant backlinks and high weight backlinks! but i think have a high pr does not mean a good rankï¼
You should consider having a link from a website - On Focus with your product or service The website’s home page has higher PR There are less that 50 links There are no ‘No Follow’ Tags on the links There is no javascript redirect on the link The link is not redirected
As such, there is no defined number of backlinks for getting so and so PR. As far as type of links is concerned, you have to get quality backlinks to your website. With quality, I mean, relevant backlinks from high PR websites.
forum signature backlink building is easy and fast... blog commenting can get you high PR backlinks but you should see baclinks on high PR page with less OBL is more worthy...
Always create theme based backlinks. If you build one way back links from high PR theme based sites, would be more effective. Build back links from other sources as well like directory submissions, article submissions, forum posting, press release submission, blog posting etc.
Building high quality backlinks can be very time consuming. But as everyone has stated before, forums, blog commenting, press releases and articles. Good luck
i have been in pr3 last year but i go down to zero due to paidpost. google penalized me for that. now hard time for me to recover. i abandoned paidpost from that time. i don't know how to recover for pagerank. does it take to get six months to get my pr3 rank?
I agree with most of the points, there is no standard number of links needed for a certain Pagerank. In simple terms you get the most Pagerank influence from high page rank sites. The best description of Pagerank as related to link juice can be found on wikipedia (type in Pagerank) The diagram does a great job at showing how hundreds of PR1 doesn't come close to the benefits of a PR8 Link Hope this helps
It's just according to what I've experienced and just calculated it. But who knows, algorithm changes so as the PR. Just don't over worked on link building, prefer quality rather than quantity.
