I'm interesting in finding out what tracking software people use for their websites, in particular the free or cheap kind.

Clicktale is nice, but it's a pity they don't give more recordings per month in their free account. It's like 20 page views, so you could burn up a whole week's worth of recordings on just a few users.
I coded my own. It's certainly not without its flaws, but sometimes it feels good to have that tiny feeling of exclusiveness.
i use google analytics plus a simple link tracking script that's custom coded. google analytics is cool, and it's free
