What "topics" pay the most per click? I heard "credit type" sites pay the most, is this true? What adwords cost the most to use? I am trying to figure out a website to make, that will have the highest CPC links on them. thanks!
I think everyone would love to know which "topics" pay the most and which site to build. Fact is no one knows for sure (unless you do your own researching) and even if someone did know, they won't mention it because who needs/wants competition? Besides, if everyone used the high paying "topics", they wouldn't be high paying for very long. But yeah, credit, mortgages, current popular disease, etc.. might be a good place to start. Good luck!
"cancer x" could be the next biggest paying AdWord, but that doesn't mean those ads would be delivered on your site. The variables and flucuations are too numerous. But yes, there are some genres that generally out perform others.
kinda useless to make a site just cause it gets a high PPC, make a site that you know alot about that way you can always update with quality content
use this : zeza://uv.bidtool.overture.com/d/search/tools/bidtool/ to know what topics you entered get bid in. *change zeza with http
thanks for the info.. it seemed "myspace" type site was good for a while, then dropped... now i hear people say they get better CPC when they have 1 add on the site, instead of 2 or three, is there truth to this?
Dont forget creating a site for high paying keywords involves fighting it out with the best are you up to that ? as mentioned do what you are good at & excel at that Their could be some truth in less ads = Higher PPC as Logicaly you are not showing the top 10/15 & could be hit by the lowest Bid I have yet to prove this to myself as I have added a different channel on all my pages to figure out exactly how where & why & I need to let it run a month to get real hard facts. After that i do intend to try only 1/2 ads per page for a month to see those results Good luck with your sites.
I think its not important to know because generally its difficult to get high traffic in high paying cpc niches and its easy to get high traffic in low paying niches. In the end only your hard work counts.
Awesome points Mong - spot on! It's the same rationale for any website and an SEO campaign so to speak: Are you going to compete for a highly sought-after KW and get no traffic, or willl you go after a less competitive KW phrase that will bring some traffic ... better than none
ahhh good point Its just i see some sites that get the same amount of hits as me, however, there CPC is like 10x what i get. my CPC is like 1.50 average, some people i see are like 10+
