Hey guys, I just wondered since Overture no longer is around what people use for keyword research at the moment?
I use the Google keyword tool, but I acknowledge that it is far from perfect. The numbers are all still estimates with unknown accuracy. Sometimes I also check figures on WordTracker, but those stats are even more questionable since it is unknown where they get their info. I guess any of these tools serve their purpose if they at least allow you to compare numbers relatively. Ignore the actual numbers and instead focus on the difference between your potential keywords.
Word tracker is very good tool for keyword search. I use that only there we an also find searcher for the particular keyword.
Google Adword tool. Its really very nice tool here you can get keywords just by typing URL of your website or any keyword phrase related to your site.
Best Keyword Tool is your "brain keyword tool" which is your brain. Online keyword tools only help to facilitate your judgement on the best keyword to use. Why? Because I have found out that most of these tools are never accurate. Pick a "keyword", run it through all the tools known to you and you will be astounded how much difference you will record! This is NOT to say they are not good. They ASSIST. So Google Keyword External (it is free) is a good one to start with.
Google's set of keyword tools are definitely the best as info is from the horses mouth as it were. These keyword tools and a lot more.
I think Google probably the best option to get best keyword, here one thing I must include that you should focus on your targeted audience I mean if you are targeting Indian region visitor then should try in keywords Delhi, India etc. Or if are targeting for other country then condition would be same.
My clients give me the keywords for SEO i just take decision after varifying the number of compititers
