What tool to check for PR?

Discussion in 'Products & Tools' started by GameOver, Apr 14, 2008.

I done a search and could not find any recent discussions so I decided to make a thread. Don't get angry if this gets asked all the time because I very rarely post in this section. Anyway, back on topic, I can't find one working PR tool. I used to use a good one until it shut down, then I moved to smartpagerank.com until today when I noticed that there was a notice to say the tool was not working. I would appreciate any help.

Oh duuude... The other day you were giving advice on seo yet you don't even know what PR tool to use. Shame on you! :D

Why not get a plugin for your browser so you don't have to copy and paste urls all the time. I assume you are using firefox right?

lol, i know about SEO from reading books and posting in forums. It is just I don't really need to use these tools very often because I don't have a PR to check. LOL. I recently cut down on all my sites and focused on one site (petbetter.com) and it is only new and therefore does not have a PR.

That tool has been broken for months, it always comes up as "OFF" or "N/A" for all sites I try.

Watch out, forums can be like chinese whispers. I think you should just download a Google toolbar. That will display PR of every page you visit.

The spoof PR's on sites is just a shame. I see people moving away from them everyday
