    I like backlinkwatch, yes it is slow but that is becuase it gives you so much information. I'm on verizon wireless which makes things even slower. So usually I type in the name and go do something else for a few minutes if site has lots of links.

    That is true.
    But in Google I have 2000 more backlinks than in Yahoo...

    And iWebtool can't find one single backlink to my site! Very strange... I liked using it before though.

    most effective tool are the search engines themselves, patience is always the key to setting up a successful website so wait to see what works and what doesn't if you have bought links, done link exchanges etc.
