Clothing line website? Facebook. You should set up a Facebook page and use Facebook ads to drive traffic to that page & grow the 'Likes'. Don't leave out Pinterest (free).
A lot of designers at using Instagram and a Paypal account to sale clothes directly. The best part with going that route is -- its (relatively) free.
I would say, you promote your Website in Facebook (local area wise). Promotion through Youtube is a good idea too, for attracting visitors.
Thanks for the feed back guys the Instagram sounds a really cool way to sell your product. Also YouTube would be good but would I be best doing related videos and just drop te clothing add in at the end and start?
Because of the targeting and your offer, I would suggest using FaceBook PPC ads. Be sure that you have a great FaceBook page and that it links back to your ecommerce site (assuming that is how you sell.)
Facebook page is a must. Instagram and Pinterest are pretty cool to follow too. You can consider to share and pin your product photos in Facebook Page while link-back to your page in Insta/Pinterest.
Pinterest Facebook instagram twitter If you do not have big following, I would pay someone few bucks to promote it on there page and focus on facebook
just create a facebook page about your business and then start promote it and target people who are interesting on what you offer and then create a twitter account too and link it with your facebook, then youtube is a good idea too create a channel about your products and optimize your videos for keywords in your niche, then i recommend you to spend your $100 on Facebook ADS to grow your Page fan and then even you spend this money you still have to work hard to keep your business grow
Try this outline: 1) Website ($10/month) 2) Autoresponder ($20/month) 3) Good Anti-virus software ($30) 4) Paid Advertising ($40...Adwords or Bing Ads) There you go. $100 spent to get you up and running.
Good software platform, some good anti virus as stated above thats all I can think of and facebook ads of course.
I don't know why anti-viruses are being referred to on here, not even remotely related to OP's question, let alone the fact that there are plenty of good free ones out there. For something clothing line related though I'd definitely follow others advice posted above, social networking would probably be the best place to target, get people sharing your offers, or even throw up a contest on FB where someone can win something (it's a small price to pay to get people sharing/viewing something that might already interest them).
Here's what I would do with $100 (Assuming you already have your domain / site) 1) Instagram - Study other similar niche fashion accounts, figure out what style of photography works best and start posting pics and using popular fashion #Hashtags. Find out which tags to use via the Tags4Likes app (free) - Once you have about 10pictures posted, Pay a decent sized fashion account to shout you out for roughly $25. 2) Facebook - Post some content, and try playing with Ads by putting $5 into boosting posts which target your city. Boost 5 posts with $5, and you'll get a feel for what's working best. 3) Twitter - Start following people who follow your competitors manually, about 50 a day. (Free) That's $50 used. Figure out what worked best, and drop the other $50 into it. That's how I would do it. Hope that helped!
Thanks for all the positive answers they have helped me out a great deal. David actually I have more than 100k in my pocket so $100 is a mere drop in the ocean to kick start a business we are not all peasents who require to do it all free...
Hmm. Just thinking, if you have more than a hundred grand right now, why allot $100 only? If you can cut some more of that 100K and venture it on your clothing line business and with a proper marketing strategy the ROI will be overwhelming.
Not trying to be insulting, just trying to say you don't even need to spend $100 to get a decent digital footprint set up. Just invest some time on setting up a page and/or social media profile and build it from there. Spend the $100 down the road.
To be honest, $100 is very little for online paid advertising. You should spend the money on building your website, pumping in content and structuring it well for SEO. This will prove to be beneficial in the long run. A $100 Facebook budget would probably get you less than 5k 'Likes' (very optimistic). You should use the money to set your foundation right first. Get the right people and your $100 will be optimized.
