    Hello
I will buy some links in the near future, and i am asking your opinion about what to look for when buying a link . i mean, when i want to buy a link from an website, where should i look if that link is good or not,or how to find out how good it is .i now look for the number of the backlinks, indexed pages, outbound links and PR .
    are there other factors ?

    thank you

    Niche, traffic, price (!!!) ...

...that's what it came to my mind right now

Seems fine to me. PR is said to be one of the most important things. I doubt it, though!

for me traffic and number of other outgoing links are important.

another important factor is the seller...especially if one is buying long-term links.

I don't want my permanent links to be removed about 4 months.....;).

Here's my list of factors, in order of importance.

1.) Relevency - Make sure the site is closely related to your own
2.) PR - still a very important factor
3.) Google Backlinks (not backlinks from yahoo site explorer, most of those won' count. Should have at least a couple in google that are of equal or greater value)
3.) Uniqueness (does it pass copyscape?)
4.) Traffic (if it has any PR at all, it should be better than 2 million in alexa)
5.) Number of outbound links (should be less than ~30 per page)
6.) Age of domain ( should be older than 3 months. I like to see at least a year)

You should look at all 6 of these factors. If it doesn't pass the first 3, don't consider it at all. If it doesn't pass the last 3, you should be wary.

I suggest you to go for relevant sites with quality content, some PR and offcourse with 2+ years domain age.

I look for relevancy first of all, then PR of 2 or better, then a domain that is at least 1 year old.

Thank you very nuch for your post!
And question: How is important the age of domain? My domain registered less three month ago.
Should I wait some months more for good ranking? I guess SEO it is not to fast process anyway.

By age of domain, I mean that you should check the age of the domain you are buying text link ads from. If it is less than 3 months, I would be very wary of purchasing ads from them.

For your own site, it will definitely take some time to achieve good pagerank. At least, it will take some time to be able ot see it. You can actually achieve good SERPS, and implied pagerank before then, but the visible pagerank is only updated 4 or 5 times per year.

name of domaine must related to niche,,,, not like: sxrt.com and a seller you make it for # health portal# for ex.

That's a pretty good suggestion, although it's not something you could write in stone. it would have to be a judgement call. Obviously a domain like 'www.dobbsforgovernor2008.com' that says it's a health blog is not something you want to buy ads on, but there are some that are harder to tell.

What for me also is important, is how rank this website for his keys.
Some people take a new website put some good links on it to get fast higher pr and build some content.
Then after 3- 6 month they sell links and put advertising on it.
