Hello, I have started my personal blog, but i have no idea what to post on it . Anyone help me out please? I am n00b to blogging, and never did blogging before.... thanks
If you have no reason on why you are doing it or know of nothing to say why do you want to start one? Better to do it for a reason as that reason can offer you inspiration when posting.
Here are a few ideas: -Your favorite photos with comments on where/when/how they were taken (with a name like Photoshop you must have a few lying around ) -Favorite tips and tricks for using Photoshop -Your last trip and what you'd recommend doing / not doing there for anyone going to the same place -Talk about the best online article or forum post you read today -Complain about something you dislike intensely. Be funny, if possible. (This is a core skill for most bloggers.) -Post your favorite YouTube video (another important blogging skill) Hope this helps - good luck with your blog!
I give you a very GOOd idea. There is one rule for becoming blogger that is "Don't follow the rules" Just write what you love to think and write
Are you looking to monetize your personal blog ? If no , then just post anything dude like hw was your day / school / college / frnds / pics ..... share the things which you want to share .
your ramblings. anything you'd like to talk about. its a personal blog so it should revolve around you not unlike a niche blog/site. just make sure to make it interesting to attract visitors. there are just too many personal blogs. you have to make your own stand out.
Thanks for the help guys ... I will try these tips. And any good ideas for how to advertise a personal blog? + I have much experience in PHP,CSS,HTML,Photoshop, and other.. Will it be good if i make tutorials etc.. and post'em on my blog?
If you can explain tough stuff in layman's language, then why not Also, if you work looks good, people might even try and contact you to do the same work for them. Bottom line-post about something you really like. When the post comes from the bottom of your heart, you will get readers...
I think this is a good idea - post tips for using popular programs, especially if you find solutions to problems that you think others will probably have. I can't count the number of times I have had a problem with a common software package that was too "simple" or "obvious" to even be mentioned on the support site. Once you solve it, you can blog it, and the chances are good that people will come your way searching for the answer to that very problem. E.g. "My language toolbar has disappeared in Word" - you get the idea! Interesting idea though - start up a blog and THEN think about what to put on it!
if you agree with most of the people that are advising then it would be a good idea if you start a educational/informational kinda blog. Who knows, after a short while you would probably have the chance to monetize it.
Thanks alot guys!!!!! I have now learnt "what is a blog" ... Blog = Share your thoughts with others, right?... I will post anything else i like. e-g: "Funniest Video!!!" - "Yesterday, i was browsing youtube and saw this video in the top 5 comedy videos. It is so funny..." ---- "Learn how to draw a .... in photoshop", -"In this tutorial you will learn how to ............. Post a comment if you need any help". ---------------------------------------- Am i right? .. Thanks again for the help guys.
Just look around, some write about what they love, like me. I will never run out of topics for my blog because I have loved the subject matter for my whole life and have followed it since I was 14 years old. Others write for money, or what they think will sell. Some write for professional reasons, and some write about popular subjects just for the sake of ad sales. From what I have seen, most bloggers write about what they love, or have knowledge of. But then again, I have seen a lot of blogs that were journeys of learning also. You can do anything you want. I say combine what you know, and what you love, and if monetization is a factor, you will find a way to make money from it, and you will come of more trusted if it is from the heart. Just don't do another SEO blog. (unless that is your passion)
