I was just wondering how to decipher all the specs in a video card? I know that the more memory there is, the better, but what about the other specs like pixel pipelines and dozen other stuff. I want to buy a video card for 3D graphic creation and video editing and other graphics related work that I'm starting to take courses in. So I'm wondering how to see which video card is best suited, but I'm not very experienced in understand all the specs within a video card.
A lot of the stuff is for gaming, but more than likely I would think a strong good gaming card would also be good for anything else that would be demanding as well. Dont' quote me on that though as I know my work computer has a card in it made for applications like AutoCAD and Inventor but is not very good for gaming.
