I would've have still made the same posts. Not sure why your bringing up an0n into this. Not sure why anyone would even think any of comments had to do anything with an0n.


And now your making more sense with your argument you wanted to create. So your basically saying, the tip is acceptable and shouldn't be criticized because regardless it may get people to donate. If this is the case, then thats fine by me. I was never trying to say that your view on the subject was wrong.

This is my last post on this thread...its leading no where good now since of Popo opening his mouth with such vulgarity. I also want to say I did receive 2 red rep's for this thread, but also received 6 greens. So clearly, some aren't too upset with my criticism.

 

Just like an0n said. The blog is about his directory and he donated money. The way you put it could mislead people and give them an impression that "an0n did it because he wanted to look good." And that shouldn't be posted here. It's good to protect someone's reputation, even if you don't know the person much. But unfortunately, what you have said, hoping you were careless there, was very disturbing. I hope you can see this.

I understand that your comment was "more directly" to the blog author and his tip for directory promotion. But the thing you said and the way you said was, to me, worse than his promotion tip.
