ive got £400 which i want to invest in to a website i have three options advertise my current free phpbb2 forum site buy another hosting site for £200 and merge with my existing site and use the remaining £200 for advertising or launch a video sharing site Which one do you think would be best to concentrate my efforts in, and which would i get the most return out of If you have any other ideas let me know
The video hosting idea and the forum idea probably aren't your best options. I would say go with buying another site (maybe from the site for sale section) and then getting more content on it and advertising.
checked the sites section nothing to my fancy, i like my webhosting site but the market is so over crowded
Does your free phpbb forum make you any money? If it does, you could probably justify investing money by advertising it
Would you not build a landing page and start selling some affiliate product? Use the money on adwords...?
Think about your first two option, I wouldn't go into the video sharing niche because it's already a saturated market.. so you might fair better doing something else.
