I just bought ad space for a 125x125 spot in a forum of a site that gets 33,000 UV a month. I actualy did this for the very first time. What should I expect? Shold i expect good conversion? Like a small amount ... or???

One more questions. For those of you that buy ad space for banners and such, do you buy space from alot of sites or??

If the site is in the same niche as your product then you should expect to see pretty good results. However, this is all dependent upon the forums you are advertising on and how good your landing page is. The more enticing your landing page is - the more potential customers you will convert.

with one 1,000 unique visitor a day and 1% click through, it amounts to 10 visitors a day.

is there a way to track how many poeple click on the banner or something? even though the banner is on some1 elses site? I'm going to see how this is going to workout for this month since this is the first time for me placing a banner on a site. If it goes great i think i'll just places the banner on more sites or something. but yea, the banner is a little related to the site and it does stand out pretty well and has good wording offering free things and such.

Don't expect more than 3% CTR.

Test your results. By the end of the month, calculate how much you are paying per 1000 visitors and compare it to other sites. You might be surprised to find that you can actually place your ad with the big boys and get a lower cost per 1000 visitors.

There is no way to answer your question without first seeing your ad, where it is placed, and the site itself.

I would say that you will get less then 5% of the traffic. That also depends on where your ad is placed, what you are advertising, and the site in general. You would receive no more then 500uv/month from that website alone i believe.

The more places you advertise the more UV's you will receive. Try link buidling and work on your SEO so you can get noticed alot easier. I believe that a search engine can provide the best traffic.
