    We have a web shop with a few categories of goods. What to demand from a freelance specialist who s been hired for a month?

    In my opinion, a certificate means very little. Why? Because all it means is that you know the rules and how to get around the interface. There is nothing about keywords and ads which are the most important. Yes, knowing the rules is important but I've seen many holders of Adwords certificates who just didn't understand the science behind marketing. Plus, there are many out there who pay others to take their exam. Having a certificate is the last thing I consider, although it shows they are serious enough to take and pass the exam. Instead, show me that you can build campaigns logically and get results of great Quality Scores.

    I used to work as a freelance specialist. And I worked with other freelance specialists. Believe me, cirtificates equal to nothing in comparison with their experience. You should know their backgrounds/references/portfolios/successful cases. And this stuff must be verifiable.
    If you have this, a certificate may be a pleasnt bonus.
    If you don't have this, don't waste your time with this person, because your risks are too high!
