I am using analytics for few months. before my traffic's search engine performance was better(above 60% of full traffic), but now that decreased & came to around 40%, what is the problem, what i am missing, the only difference i can say, i am now less regular at blogging than before. Hope to get some nice suggestion.

    Regards

You need to check whether you lack in returning visitors or new visits from Google analytics?

You say that 60% of your traffic came from Search engines, now only 40% does. It's possible that your direct traffic has increased and therefore you're still getting the same level of traffic from the search engines, but less as a proportion of your site's overall visitors.

I'm maybe not explaining this very well so consider a site which receives 100 visitors in a week. 60 from search engines and 40 direct visitors. The following week the number of Search engine visitors remains the same, but the number of direct visitors double to 80. Despite the number of visitors from search engines remaining the same, the percentage has dropped from 60% of overall visitors to 43%.

Again you should start promote your link. There is no other way.

If your total traffic now is higher than a few months ago you shouldn't worry. This means that, as jonbuoy said, your direct traffic has increased.

Have a look at the traffic sources in google analytics. This will show what sites are giving you less visitors.
