I have a really cool domain name (pending registration), it is a short .com and uses the word "truly".

Any ideas on what to do with it?

Make it a funny site - since it says truly, you can write funny content about why what you say isn't really true.

 

Impossible to tell unless we knew the exact domain name!

That's actually a great domain hack...the first thing that came to mind is a domain shortening service, but those are a dime a dozen. It could work for some kind of social networking site - it kind of falls along that line of trendiness.

You could do a lot of things with it; park it, start a company (networks, web hosting sites, or anything), sell it, or even put pointless content on it.

 

run your own url shortener like the one at http://bit.ly

 

Make a site of collection of pranks. Truly untrue things

 

Sell it for 50000 dollars on sedo

Like someone said above, you can use it as a news portal/blog.
A video site with all the most funny youtube videos in it.
A photography based website showing 'truly' breathtaking work from artists. (e.g. from DeviantArt).
