What to do with spam comment?

    What will you do if you received 50+ spam comments within a day?
    My workpress blog received 53 spam comments today from a same person ( same ip address ) and 165 yesterday from a few different people. Feeling like telling these people to jump from ten story.... Angry..:mad:

    I have no problem with spam comments...
    You should use some plugin or something...

    Aren't you using Akismat? If yes, then they would be caught easily and in case they aren't, you can start marking them as spam and next time around, akismat will block it, itself. Having said that, if you are getting tired of receiving spam from a particular ip address, then you can always go ahead and block it.

    Just delete all of them
    If you want to stop them, the only way is "close the comment"

    You can save your wastage of time by installing Askimet a wordpress spam defender that allow you to avoid from bulky spam comments

    Ban the ip adresses and delete the comments.

    never had a blog,but on my forum i used a word filter.
    newbies couldn't post if it contained http://
    imo,the best bot stopper. :)

    Just delete what you feel is spam comments. Some are good comments but some are there just to spam their links on your blogs.
