Just realized I'm getting over a hundred hits a day just from search, but I'm not doing much with these search visitors. If I'm getting 100 hits a day from search, then that would give me a huge boost in email subcribers. But I don't see that. They're not subscribing, nor are they buying anything. Any ideas? Once again, my site http://shahtraining.com
maybe you can increase the number of visitors up to 1000 hits per day. Then, place the form subcribes in strategic places such as on the below of the post, or on the blog header by offering something free for your blog visitors.
I think because your site looks like a blog !! I think should change this site to a landing page and you will see a lot of sales trust me !
Only some keywords convert you are probably getting found for many general keywords. I think it was a mistake changing your homepage to a landing page. Don't be expecting any repeat visitors.
I'm not getting any repeat visitors as it is. The only people who repeat are those that sign up to my mailing list. And seo people, for whatever reason, do not sign up to my mailing list. I think it's fine for testing purposes.
when i first go to the site, i dont see the subscribe button. so probabably you want to add the button somewhere people can see it clearly.
Your website is confusing. First decide what you want to do. If you want to make affiliate sales, then create a proper landing page, where the visitors ONLY choice is to visit vendor's website, after reading your reviews. If you want to build a list, then make a proper squeeze page to collect emails by offering free ebook or something.
Hm.....ok. Thanks for all the advice guys, but lets clear a few things up. First, I do have a squeeze page - http://shahtraining.com/get-your-free-bodyweight-workout-manual/ It's actually has a very high conversion rate (20-30%). I've been sending traffic to the page via PPC and Article Marketing. The issue was - why don't SEO people convert desipite putting an opt-in link on the side bar and underneath each post? Because of a suggestion from this website, I placed a landing page on the front page. So yes, RIGHT NOW, people have no choice but to go to the affiliate's website. If anything, I suck at writing a landing page.
If the hits are coming & its not converting at all then the problem is that the traffic is really bad or your page is not well. So, check that,
Thanks, this is the first day I put up the new landing page. So I think it's too early to change anything.
Also if you are going with the landing page idea and are going to be promoting affiliate products add your own personal case study of the product and what it did for you where possible. Also offer a free report with some top notch information in for free and you can put your affiliate links inside while building a list with some good information too. Hope this helps! Chris
I do have a list, with a free manual that is very popular. I have not placed links in it though. That could a great next step. Thanks Chris.
Hello , Your landing page is too small it don't give to the visitors a lot of informations about it + You must give them some Bonus ( this is very important)
I actually just had a nice sale - once again from my email list. Since I'm already pretty good at email marketing, I think I'll focus on just growing my list for now. Once I get those daily sales in, I'll spend some time learning how to create proper landing pages.
Hello , I think You should work with the email list and perform yourself !! and you will get more and more sales !! just don't work at many things in the same time
What you have is not a squeeze page, but a page on your blog, which is setup in a way to look like a squeeze page. If you are after serious list building, then you need something like this > http://www.articleinsiderprofits.com/freereport.html In case, when you want to use a blog as a landing or squeeze page, you should setup a custom HTML page, where visitors will have ONLY ONE way to go. At the moment, they can pretty much anything on your blog, i.e. check out categories, read other posts, etc.
