What do you do with a page/site when you've: 1) used word tracker to find all the best alternative keyword phrases 2) created good pages with good keyword density percentages 3) You have many backlinks, etc. to the site/keywords/pages Now what? I've worked on our site which has been up for a few years now and many of the keywords are ranking nicely and many are in the number 1 position. But what to do with the keywords that are ranking in the 11th or 14th or 23rd positions? What is left to do? Do I just start making more 'links' to these pages, etc.? Is that all there is to do? Do I just walk away now and not work anymore as the SEO of our site (with the occasional checking now and then). Are there any hair-splitting seo techniques I can begin using now. What do you guys do after you've done almost everything for your site .... do you just sit back and accept the rankings that you have? Thank you! Heather
(To help the 11's, 14's, etc) -Build links for a few weeks using one keyword/keyword phrase as your anchor text. Have some pointing to your home page (most of them), some pointing to an interior page targeting that kewyword.. After about a month, change the anchor text in your link building to a new keyword, rinse and repeat.. Otherwise -Continually update content -Continually add pages to the site (keep the web presence growing) -Add products/categories if you can
