What's the best thing to do when you purchase new domain names? I bought 10+ new ones today including at least 6 LLLL.com ones. What should I do with them? Park them or what?

You can either develop the site and promote it I guess or park it. What's the best option especially when you don't want to do much promoting for the domains you buy?

Parking is not ment to GAIN traffic to your domains. Its ment to monetize traffic already coming to the site. Put something on the domains for awhile to get some traffic, then park them. You MAY get some type in as well. Hope that answered it. If not, just let me know.

Even if all you can afford/have time to do is put up a quick little site, do that for each of them. Try to submit the names to directories, and place some links in your signatures on several forums. Unless the names are really great, don't expect overnight sales or interest.

If you have an Afternic account, list the names there. Get a free Sedo.com account and do the same. Plesmo.com was on the way to becoming their biggest competitor, but fell short when its developer, Luc Lezon, stopped updating it.

One area I'm experimenting with right now is finding and selling to end users. Collect a list of websites that would benefit from your domain names and email their webmasters to tell them why they need your name. From what other people say, this has a very low success rate, but if you are persistent, all you need is one big sale to give you enough leverage to buy a nicer investment.

    Good luck!

I find I can install wordpress and make a few posts about my plans for the domain in about 15 minutes. Google seems to like the results.
