What to do with my second domain name?...

    Hi there,

I've had a second domain name for my website for a while, it is a spelling variation of my site. I'm not too sure if I'm using it properly at the moment.
My normal website is index.html and I decided I would create an index.htm file and link my second domain name to this.

I'm not too sure if this could be flagged up with the search engines because both websites are nearly identical. Would it be better if I did a 301 re-direct to my index.html from my second domain name?

    Thanks for any help.
    Matt

You should develop a site that's in total competition to your original domain. Then on your original domain, write about the as#holes who stole your idea :)

Otherwise I think a 301 would be the safest thing to do.

I agree, wether you develop unique content for your second domain, wether you put a 301 redirect. Otherwise your second domain will never rank so it'll be of no use for you.
