What to do with LLN .com domains?

I'm about to win a bid for a letter-letter-number .com name for more than I should have. Having that number in there really decreases its value. I was originally going to re-sell it, but I doubt I'll ever be able to get more than 1k.

Would I be better off using it for some service (proxy site, parking, etc.) because of its short length?

    Opinions please!

Well the domain is only worth about $130. If you hold on to it, it should increase in value pretty quickly. Short url, proxy, parking, minisite, etc are all ways to earn money off of it. Do you want to associate the domain with a website or would you rather let a new owner decide that (even if its 5 years from now)?
