OK, I knoe that Google keyword density is 2% & that yahoo & msn have a higher torrerence. However, I have been doing some research for my new keywords for my new sites, and most sites have a keyword density of 6% + and Google still ranks them as no1 My current keyword density is 4.67 % and now I am not sure if to lower it or increase it? Please post your experinces with keyword desity on Google
I personally believe it doesnt exist for on-page keyword density - for Google that is. One site I fight over uses a very competive keyword over 52 times on their front page and could be considered as keyword stuffing, they rank #2 for that keyword. You can also find pages on the top Google results that have no use of the keyword on their page or have only used it once. Some people say its an SEO myth when others disagree and get too hung up on the subject.
