What to do with International traffic

    Hello fellow webbies,

My main site gets lots of DVD related traffic from around the world through the major SE's. I need to capitalize by adding Blockbuster or Netflix affiliate links but those will do nothing on non-USA traffic.

Do you know if there are any trusted International affiliate programs out there that do Geo-targeting and serve the right ad per a user's originating country? I imagine online rental is growing in various other markets world wide.

If no Geo affiliate program would you have any advice on how to tackle this issue? I guess I could set up some in-house lookup and then pull a BBO/NTFLX affiliate link from my management system only on US traffic. What would you do? How would you approach?

    Thanks in advance, MXF

Do what other Uniter States survey do. Just use a script that recognized the IP address judges where they are from and then accordingly redirects them to some other website. Now this redirected website could be something similar and have your affiliate link to it. Make Money both the ways.

Yep geo target offers and you are good to go. most CPA's will automatically shwo an ad that the people can signup for but will usually be unrelated to the topic.

Thank you for the tips. I do want to keep users on my site and only geo-target the ad they see. If that's not possible I'll have to make a generic "online rentals" link and geo that landing page for different offers.

If anyone has other solutions please let me know!

Maybe use adsense for these other countries.

Just use phpAdsNew with Geotargetting. Stick all aff banners etc. in an invocation code snippet and then serve US aff banners to US visitors and UK banners (or indeed AdSense/Chitika etc.) to UK visitors etc.

That solution will cost you maybe $50 a year for the IP database but make you much more.

We filter international traffic on our USA-only CPA campaigns to offers that welcome foreign leads. Works surprisingly well, and affiliates are generally happy since they get the occasional bonus lead here and there from the redirect on traffic they would have earned zero from otherwise.

Has anyone tried DMO Global's affiliate network? They have a lot of International advertisers and possibly a "Netflix" type offer for countries outside the US. You have to navigate their main site a little, but i would just send them an email. There website is: dmoglobal.com

Would love to hear your feedback as well as if anyone else has some good International ad networks to recommend.

Thanks for the Dragon Media link. I will take a closer look. This gets closer to what I'm trying to do as I wish to keep international customers on my site but offer them good outbound links that I can make some revenue off. Thanks!
