I have lots of websites and am always trying hard to increase traffic to those sites so that i can earn more thru my softwares and services. Now there is one site where i have no problem of traffic (celeb gallery website) but am stuck with just website visitors and nothing else. I have adsense on it thru which i earn about 30 cents a day. For a site that gets 1200 uniques per day i must say these earning are not good enuff. What else can i do? Dont want cpa because the audience is india based. cheers, Gaurav
Well since most of the traffic is india based you should search for some indian advertisers and companies that want to advertise on your page, the rest of the methods will be just pointless since advertisers won't pay much for indian visitors.
Put some PTP Pop Up ! you can increase your income from it with that visits , though you need to find trustworthy PTP Site
If i where you i would generate a lead capture / Opt In to build a list if you have that many per day. Its endless what you can do with a list. Just have to come up with a way to make them want to opt in which is usually some type of eBook that your site is related to.
That's good traffic! But how are you using this traffic to earn money? My suggestion: 1) Create an Opt In Box on the top right side of your website in order to try to capture as many leads as you can. 2) Using the leads that you have captured, send them emails to market your products. That way you are selling to a targeted audience that is interested in whatever you are doing, so chances of them buying would be dramatically increased. This method is called email marketing, has been around for quite some time and has been proven to work wonders!
If you are getting lots of traffic but it doesn't give you benefit so you can start PPC campaign so you could target relevant audience to your business.
adsense is the best, try by ads placement which suite you and it will help if you don't put all 3 ads on 1 page. try 1 spot. it increase your earning. good luck

What about a membership system? Put a small part of your gallery into a members only section. (Ps this section needs to be really worth the money!) Then charge anyone who wants to enter the membership section a small fee. (It can be a monthly fee or a one time off fee. My suggestion is a monthly fee, but make it super cheap!) What do you think about this?

I agree with Howard the best way to get the most out of your traffic is to capture their email address and Name. Then once they are on your email list -- you can give them valuable information and sell them related products over and over again. This is also wise -- because over 90% of people who come to your site are not likely to buy from you the firs time -- it takes showing a person a product on average 5 times.
I agree with you. The idea is to build a list by getting e-mails addresses and introduce related products to our audience by providing good content.
I agree 30 cents for 1200 unique visitors/day is is not good enough.. There is however a lot of opportunity available to you.. Building a list is definitely something you need to to do.. But it doesn't end there, you need to get the demo-graphical data of these visitors i.e Age range, Sex, Income Bracket, ETC So that you can tailor your marketing to the people on your new list.. For example it will do you no good, sending a dating offer to a list of people who are married.. There are several ways to get data, one is to email your list with a free offer for completing a survey for you.. You may need to do several surveys over a period of time, asking them two or three questions rather than one big survey asking them ten or so questions.. Once you know your list your email messages will speak their language, and you will find products that they want..
If you are getting 1200 visitors daily and they are from Google search engine then you can earn around $10 easily using Adsense.. Try optimizing your Adsense.
This idea came up to my mind! Why not selling advertising space on your site! You don't need to use Google Adsense! Just try to find advertisers which will pay you a monthly fee for placing their ads on your site for some time, in this case a monthly basis or even weekly basis. It depends on how much that traffic converts. You can create a gig on fiverr for that purpose!

if so, why not put some indian paid ads on it, thus, the indian visitors would like to clink the content they like.then, the income is increasing.
