what to do with domain?

My main keyword for my site is in home tutoring via google search. I just registered the domain inhometutoring.net. Inhometutoring.com is a small site and ranks well for the key terms.

How should I link this domain back to my page? If it ranks well, how will it reflect back onto my page?

    Any suggestions appreciated.

You should 301 redirect the new domain to your current site if you don't plan on developing it. This will pass along all SEO attributes and link value from the new site to your current site.

I didn't want to 301 because I wanted the domain to rank for 'in home tutoring' on google due to they keyword is the exact match for the domain name. I was thinking of putting up a simple site with a form (results leading to me), do some on page SEO, like tutoring.com and then submitting the site to directories. Hopefully it will rise to the first page after some time.

Would a one page site be looked down upon in google?
