I didn't understood the tutorial there and preferred asking at discussion forums.

What to do with google adsense channels?

Can it be given any name and it's created or we need to do anything else.

    Please reply sooner.

It's just for tracking your ads performance ( like tracking id's ). You can name them as you wish - it will not affect your ads !

channels are very good of tracking your Ads performance. As mentioned in the G tutorial, it is better to give a traceable name as once the number channels will increase, it will get difficult to trace about a particular Ad. It is just to make things easier for you and not compulsory in any way.

I like to create a separate channel for each ad slot on my sites. For example, you could follow the channel naming convention "[sitename] [ad location] [ad type]" to allow easy tracking of the performance of individual ad units.

This makes is easy to see which ads are performing best, and which ones aren't getting any visitor attention. You can try different ad sizes in each ad slot location, along with different color schemes, to see what works best for your site.

I always caution people to make changes slowly and watch the results over a significant number of page impressions. Since nearly all sites follow a fluctuating pattern of traffic each week, running one or two tests a week may be appropriate to get meaningful results. That's how I've always done it, and this practice has led to a lot on insights on ad placement on my sites. Good luck!

It is for you to monitor the preformance of the single website. It is good for you to judge on whether it need to make some changing on the website to improve the preformance
