What to do with articles: Post on website or submit to article directories?

    I have a number of articles targeting specific keywords. My question is: Should I post these articles on my own article section of the website and build up content, or should I submit to websites like ezinearticles.com? Or should I do both?

    From your experience, what do you think is most effective? Any input is appreciated.

    From my experience Article Directories have worked far better.

    I always prefer to up my content on my own sites. Article directories are so overcrowded that they are not near as effective as they once were.

    Would you recommend uploading articles on a blog or create separate static html pages for each keyword article?
